How To Find Us
Focus Ranch is in both Colorado and Wyoming. To find us on a map, look in the NW corner of Colorado and south central part of Wyoming. Slater, Colorado is our mailing address. We are 50 miles west of Steamboat Springs, Colorado and 30 miles east of Baggs, Wyoming on Colorado County Road 129. We advise our guests to call for directions and offer a word of caution- directions from internet map services are not accurate the closer you get to the ranch.
How To Get Here Driving
- From Steamboat Springs, CO– Turn north on County Road 129, this is off Highway 40 on the west end of town. Stay on this road for approximately 50 miles.
- From Baggs, WY-Turn east on Highway 70 and continue east to Savery. After Savery, you will cross over 4 cattle guards. Turn right after the 4th cattle guard onto Routt Cnty. Rd. 129. Continue 10 miles on Cnty. Rd. 129.
- From Craig, CO-Go north on Hwy 13 to Baggs, WY and then follow above directions.
- From Laramie, WY– several options and you may want to inquire as there are seasonal road closures. During the summer though, many of our guests will take Hwy 130 or 230 to Encampment, WY and then Hwy 70 to Cnty. Rd. 129.
- From the North and West-Interstate 80 to Creston Junction and then turn south on HWY 789 to Baggs. See above directions.
Airport and Other Travel Services
Denver International Airport (DIA) is approximately 230 miles from the ranch, Hayden Airport is 70 miles and the Salt Lake City Airport is approximately 350 miles.
